We have a strong team of talented engineers and we’re looking to add a WordPress Developer to our onsite team in Lahore, Pakistan. If you’re interested in working with a fast paced, highly talented team and you love pushing the envelope, then we’d love to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins with clean, maintainable code.
- Implement Headless WordPress solutions using WP REST API / GraphQL with Next.js decoupled front-ends.
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end components.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and automation workflows.
- Optimize website performance: caching, database queries, Core Web Vitals, and code efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform debugging, and ensure error-free deployments.
- Maintain high code quality following WP coding standards, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure websites are mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and cross-browser compatible.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver business-focused features.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on WordPress development (custom themes + plugins).
- Strong PHP expertise, OOP, hooks, filters, and WP Core understanding.
- MUST have Headless WordPress experience with REST API and GraphQL.
- MUST have Next.js expertise for decoupled front-end development.
- Front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, jQuery, modern build tools.
- Experience with databases: MySQL (required), PostgreSQL (optional).
- Solid experience with ACF, CPT UI, Gutenberg, and template hierarchy.
- Hands-on experience with Git, staging, CI/CD workflows, and deployments.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, security hardening, caching, and CDN configuration.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
