We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Manual) who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality software products.

As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of Paismo’s applications through systematic testing. You’ll work closely with developers and cross-functional teams to identify issues, validate features, and ensure our products deliver a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding bugs, investigating issues, improving testing processes, and contributing to the overall quality of a fast-paced SaaS product.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and reliability.
• Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on product requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing across different applications and features.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Test HR management systems, dashboards, business workflows, and other platform functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Managers, and other team members to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform retesting and regression testing to ensure reported bugs are properly resolved without affecting existing functionalities.
• Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and prepare QA reports before product releases.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, product quality, and overall user experience.
• Develop practical knowledge of automation testing and explore opportunities to improve testing efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Practical experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Ability to write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
• Basic understanding of automation testing concepts and tools.
• Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing SaaS-based products, HRMS, ERP, or other management platforms.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience testing responsive web applications and mobile applications.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to product quality.
