What an absolute honor it was for our CEO, Rebecka Zavaleta, to take the stage as the Master of Ceremonies at #CONNEX2025, Pakistan’s premier and largest HR conference, hosted by the Pakistan Society for Training & Development (PSTD) and the Pakistan Society for Human Resource Management (PSHRM).
This incredible gathering brought together hundreds of professionals, business leaders, and innovators driving the future of work.
This year, the conference theme, “AI and Automation in HR – Redefine, Reimagine, Reinvent, Reconnect”, couldn’t have been more timely. From discussions on hybrid workforce research shaping global workplaces, to a leadership framework now taught at INSEAD, to navigating AI ethics in HR, the sessions were as inspiring as they were insightful.
We were thrilled to witness thought leaders like Loïc Sadoulet, Dr. Ghenwa Habbal, Majid Munir, Dr. Oleg Konovalov, Syed Fahad Jilanee, Hassan Khan, Zeeshan Nadeem, Hasan Adnan Ahmed, Fahd Chinoy, Adeel Shareef, Khadijah Gull, Haider Ali, Tabish Azmat, Sadaf Hatif, Ali Masood, Saquib Niaz, Umair Javed, and so many more share their expertise.

A fun nugget from the conference: did you know the concept of an HR department actually originated in the early 1900s due to strikes and protests? Fast forward to today, and the HR community faces a new challenge, redefining, reimagining, reinventing, and reconnecting in a rapidly evolving world powered by AI.
As we explored these transformative conversations, one thing was clear: AI is not here to replace the human side of HR, it’s here to enhance it, enabling smarter decisions, stronger connections, and more impactful workplaces.
